http://www.ianmclauchlin.co.uk | 10-05-2008 - 19:30 I first stumbled across your wonderful site about 59 years ago when I was 5, and pretty good at stumbling I can tell you. It was a bit scary then but my parents were able to console me with tales of 'don't you read that muck, it'll infect yer passages'.
As I grew older I realised that they were just trying to frighten me - they said you must be a witch, but they've been wrong before.
Now I can see a few twilight years in the distance, I like nothing better than to ward them off by dipping into Funny Peculiar every so often. I get great comfort from finding a) that somebody else rants (nearly typed rents there but stopped just in time - could have been interpreted as tearist or even flatist ) and b) that the rants are insanely similar to my own. Er .... you didn't plagier playgyer, STEAL them from me did you.?
I must close now as I'm expecting a visitor any time now (let me know if you hear sirens and see flashing lights).
Thank you for an amusing sight sorry site. Keep it up and don't take any notice of the ones who claim to have your best interests at heart. Not many will be able to lift the sledge hammer anyway.
Best wishes, Ian |
